Zhan Yan gets a glimpse of Duan Mu and is upset to see her in chains. Wen Gu Wei Yu returns to Ninth Hell and becomes the king. He takes them out of Ninth Hell to attack the mortals. Zhan Yan decides to go to Penglai to save Duan Mu. His sword, Ju Que, can protect Zhan Yan in his attempt to go to Penglai. Wen Gu Wei Yu wants to use life sucking spell to save Duan Mu.
