Enjoyable

This is a cute drama with a well written story. Story moves nicely along with very nice people. The leads are welled matched. Lots of beautiful lady, as well as two very handsome actors with amazing eyes. Was not boring at all . He f funny moments , the music ? was very nice. The lead song had a nice tone to it. The jealous girl was very annoying, but very pretty. The princess was also beautiful and had great fights with jealous girl. The nerd looked more handsome with the makeup , This drama was a delight to watch , however some of the English subtitles were off and didn’t make sense.

Just kinda meh

I loved the leads in Arsenal Military Academy and Xu Kai in Legends and Lingjian mountain but I was disappointed in this drama. Everything was okay. Xu Kai was good but didn’t seem to have much chemistry with the FL. The story started briskly and was fairly straightforward and entertaining but the various threads never really formed a cohesive narrative and while there were some fun moments it is a forgettable drama. The secondary characters were fun, but again the mythology wasn’t really explored very well. I assume it was meant to highlight the dangers of racism, which is a timely theme but even that just sort of fizzled out in the end. Really, just meh. I was hoping for better.

I truly enjoyed this drama. I know there are part that did drag on, but they are also trying to get the ost/music included (so you can fast forward). The interaction between the characters were great each played the part excellent. You loved, hated, Sad, cried, mad what wonderful feeling to get pulled into this show. There were some parts that should have been explained better about the battle they gave us a nibble. There was romance and jealousy.
I love xu Kai and did a great job as always. I fell in love with li jun Chen he looked so hot, his eyes melted you. I thought it was a drama of the human and kunwu clan fight as power comes into play against each other. The human play the bad people and try to invade the kunwu home slowly trying to push them out. There is a Hugh battle and the human partially win when the saintess freezes there emporer and curse that hell be back in 10yrs. the kunwu is now trying to stay alive otherwise they are killed, made slaves or imprisoned.

i love this drama!

this drama contains comedy,romance,superantural, fantasy,
1. i love the ending that they went back to the雪色冰峰i was pretty nice.

2. the actors Wu Jia Yi and Xu Kai acted great, the story and the ending are pretty good too.

3. the costumes and everything looked good too

4. when i rewatched this drama , it was still pretty interesting

5. love the way they cared for each other

6. i kinda think this was better than the arsenal military academy

it is pretty sweet at first but it became sad i cried alot , but atleast the ending was happy

1 su you lian can actually fly down the mountain because she have wings, why use the ropes?

2 su you lian should look surprised when she knew about li xuan's idendity, but she did not

Give this show a try

I have been waiting for this drama to come out for a pretty long time and this was it. I was so excited to start watching it. The trailer was well made and it gave it away to me so I stopped watching my other drama and started watching this one. Dance of the Sky Empire drama is so just cute and adorable to me, but it's pretty good overall. There are a few parts that are hilarious, which made me laugh pretty hard and there were sad parts as for choosing where your alliance stays. I think the scenery of this drama were amazing. They sure put a lot of effort into it. Story line was also great. It starts off with a pretty mysterious beginning and a back story. The actors and actresses were unique. I literally watched it all day trying to find out what happens next and I can't wait for the next episode to come out. Loved the first few episodes. Give it a try!

Overall, this is a pretty good drama. There are a couple of things to point out though. Firstly, the story/plot was super intriguing, but it only started developing more near the end of the drama. They focused a bit too much on the love story. But, the acting was amazing. Xu Kai did a really good job playing the part of Li Xuan. I also really liked Hani Kezi (playing as Yunshan) in this drama. The whole story was also pretty funny- it gave me a good laugh. The visual effects weren't the best, but I didn't really mind that. But in the end, I think this drama is worth watching.

Great Fantasy

The visual affects in this drama was great. The story is a fantasy and it is a good written story. All the characters are easy to follow from beginning to end. The male and female lead character keep the episodes very interesting along with the other characters. The twist in the story half way and a cute romance keeps us engage in the story. The actors performance is great and there is so much chemistry between them, That they put you in the story and make you believe in it. The fighting are exquisite and the special affect are the best. One of the best stories I have seen this year.

Très bon Wuxia avec Xu Kai, pas trop long et bien mené.

Story : hate-love entre 1 "sainte" d'un peuple opprimé et le fils (hybride des 2 peuples) d'un général du peuple oppresseur. Une partie de l'histoire se déroule dans une académie d'élite, gérée par le maitre du ML, où est enfermé l'empereur du peuple opprimé.

Dans une académie, on a les histoires classiques d'amitié, de romances, de triangle amoureux. Au dehors, de très belles scènes de fight, de super pouvoirs, de conspirations diverses.
Les images sont belles, le rythme est rapide et les OST sont surprenantes mais très adaptées et intéressantes.

L'histoire est un peu "tordue", je n'apprécie pas trop la FL, mais l'ensemble (surtout grâce à Xu Kai qui porte littéralement la série) est agréable.

Another Academy costume drama meant for teenagers

While watching "Another Academy young adults with love-hate script", I had mixed feelings. Some parts of the script were enjoyable, but other times I found myself losing interest. Some episodes were difficult to follow and left me feeling confused. However, I found the female lead to be a refreshing change from the usual doormat characters found in so many dramas. Her sassy personality was a highlight for me. I also got a good laugh out of how they gave the same hairstyle to the bad boy hero. But, the character that really stood out was the millennium-old man and his beloved dog.

Overall, it was a watchable show, but not something that I would put on my rewatch list.

Good story with potential wasted

I finally finished it after having it on hold for quite a few months and here is what i have to say:

Story and characters: This has a lot of loopholes. The biggest and most disappointing one being Su Youlian being the saintess didn't even know much about her own clan. Like wth? You just have brute strength and no brains right? And your brain works only when making use of prince mu and manipulating li xuan? Plus both the guys sacrificed a lot for her while she gave nothing in return. Why are all the cdrama girls always like this? Next, how come the 2nd princess knew so much? She was such a complex character, god! On to another one. Li Xuan thinking that the FL was responsible for his father's death, hurt her so much, but after he regained his memories and realized everything, how come he couldn't bring himself to hurt that person? Like c'mon man, you hurt the girl for no real good reason but let go of the real criminal. There were several such loopholes everywhere and not to mention the reactions of everyone in real situations was off, again one flaw of how the story was written that simply excluded the fact that others should be surprised at certain things. The story was great in itself, except how it was executed with so much flaws. This one could've been a really great one if the plot was done justice.
Also the pacing. The initial episodes were pretty slow for a show that's gonna have just 28 in total. So a lot of time was wasted in useless stuff and that made the later ones too rushed. At times the love triangle part gave me Ashes of Love vibes for real ngl!
Ending: the later episodes were obviously rushed and needed better explanation, but it wrapped up with everyone having a happy ending.

Acting: I love Xu Kai.. he is just so charming and amazing. His character was pretty poorly written just like most others, but his acing was great. The FL could've smiled a little more. The 2nd ML was my favourite again. He did a good job, basically his character was good beyond imagination. Other actors did a pretty good job too. Now onto Lord Zi and the sword spirit, these 2 shifus were horrible. And this lord zi guy is everywhere! And he is the same evil every time ugh.

Music and others: The cgi and effects weren't bad, but nothing extraordinary either. The costumes used for the sha guo arc were very beautiful but not so much for anyone else. The music was pretty good, i liked it. Btw, i don't understand the name of the drama. Like why and how is it even related?

Anyway, overall i liked it, but wouldn't probably rewatch it. Since it's just 28 eps with the basic story being pretty good, I'd suggest giving it a try.
