This is a Bromance
Like that's a good chunk of my life I want back. So much hype SO MUCH HYPE! For this steaming pile? Like I thought at some point they would maybe actually have a real kiss or even a passionate hug but I got nothing and this couple had zero chemistry. Like I thought Mean and Plan from Love by chance 1 & 2 had no chemistry but they make these two look like soul mates and there is a sequel!! Who asked for that!?! I'm glad this wasn't my first BL because I would have tapped out right there. OMG! I need to go rewatch Bad Buddy, Not Me or Love in the Air just to get this monstrosity out of my head.Esta resenha foi útil para você?
2GETHER IS FOR STRAIGHT PEOPLE
I just feel like this bl was targeted toward straight people. The story is nothing original and wasn't executed well. The acting was nothing special but I think Win did a pretty decent job considering it was his first drama. Bright on the other hand I feel like he was uncomfortable playing in a bl. I just don't feel the chemistry between them after they start dating. It is always funny to me when brightwin fans call them chemistry kings. There were too many side couples and I did not give a fuck about any of them. The only side character I liked was green. The drama was very low budget. I think if gmmtv remade this it would have been better. 2gether is very mediocre and if the actors weren't handsome it wouldn't be so popular.Esta resenha foi útil para você?

Still disappointing even when I didn't have any expectations
(English is not my first language so please excuse my mistakes)When I started this BL, I didn't have high expectations. But still, it was disappointing.
- Tine and wat had more chemistry when they were fake dating than when they became boyfriend. Everyone can agree than you don't need to portray explicit sex scene to showcase love between to person. But they are some thing that have to be "de facto" when people are in love. When moving together in a house with only one bed, and you're a couple, I highly doubt that you will just be on your side, back facing each other, with all your clothes on. Especially when you're young (they must be like 19 yo men), at that age with your partner this is NOT a realistic portray?? And even watching the star together there was no sign of romance at all ! This lack of romantic interactions (I'm not asking for hot bed scene) is so frustrating as it's repeat all along, during 13 episodes. Because of that it was so hard to see them as lovers, they looked and acted more like brothers or buddies...:/
- The story and the plot had potential, I liked the idea of fake dating, it could be fun. But it was toxic asf. Something that come back a lot in Thai BL drama is the lack of FREAKING COMMUNICATION. Every argument is almost the end of the relationship and small thing cause huge and disproportionate arguments. I'm tired of this. They never want to listen what the other has to say for their defense just because they "saw" something that can mean nothing.
- The use and portrayal of girls/young women : they are only portrayed in cliché and annoying ways : a bunch of crazy girls screaming over hot guys ; the "ex who is still in love and come back just to screw everything up, even when knowing that wat has a boyfriend but still comeback because director wanted some drama but didn't want to think to much and were lazy" ; the girl that tine like and want to date who is only use to show Wat's jealousy because it's "cute omggg look he's jealous he loves tine so much ahah XD ". The only girl I appreciated was the one playing guitar in the music band (but see I don't even remember her name (X ).
Anyway...
- side story/realtionship: not gonna lie I kinda skipped a lot of those scene cause it was just boring and not interesting. They were just here to show that "everyone is gay and end up with a boyfriend and oh that's so cool".
- Dim and Green : one word : TOXIC and ABUSIVE relationship (well that's 2 sorry XD). Not even funny or entertaining, more like cringe.
- Man and Type : what the heck is that : man's behaviour isn't cute and romantic. He's just a creepy stalker. I didn't like how they ended together, don't understand how type fell in love.
- Mil and Wat's little brother (sorry I don't remember his name X/ ) : it was weird as hell, I don't like how mil treated WLB, who seemed to be just a second choice after he FINALLY understood that Tine doesn't like him. Plus there interactions seemed off to me, it was unnatural especially the "pat pat" thing. (Spoiler season 2 ) at the end of the 1st season I thought that they ended up together but it seems like no because at the beginning of season 2 they aren't, it's just WLB who tries to seduces mil and is frustrated. I was completely lost.(end spoiler S2)
- characters didn't have any evolution, they were still the same at the end of the 13th episode, nothing new also in there archetype. Tine friends are just here to roast restaurants and get drunk til morning to the point you can't remember anything after that and give a tiny piece of advice sometimes. I just liked Fong. He was nice. But that's it.
-the sorry doesn't make sense either : one good exemple is that now tine doesn't need wat, he just quit the music club. ????
If I had to name one good thing it would be the music : one of the rare Thai BL which has a not cringe ost and music in general. Scrubs' music is very nice ! However if we could get a music BL were the instrument is NOT guitar for once... I'm getting tired of this :')
I almost forgot one thing : the choice of music for some scene. SO BAD. When Tine is crying and you put a happy and lively music on top of that??? So many moment like that, supposed to be sad but are ruined by the stupid choice of music.
(This is my first review on MDL I hope it was not too bad XD)

i am slightly attached to this series
okay lets start- the music is absolutely phenominal- when i watched this for the first time i immediately became a fan of scrubb their music actually elevates me into another universe istganyways i will always love this series so much it gives me so much joy to rewatch and watch compilations of on youtube- a lot of people think it's overrated but i think it's just a 2020 classic
even though the storyline is simple, i think especially with win acting for the first time, they defo pulled it off.
now all i need is another brightwin series TT

writing this several years after it came out
okay so i watched 2gether as it was coming out from like the 5th episode i think and if you asked 2019 sophia what she thought about it she would say its a cinematic masterpiece but ive been rewatching bits and pieces and its just not all that tbh. still a good watch and i think any bl fan should watch just for its iconic-ness but ive seen better and ive seen worse. i think the main couple has not one bit of chemistry but ive come to expect that from any gmm series i fear. it still holds a special place in my heart bc it was my first bl ever so thats why the rating is that highEsta resenha foi útil para você?

Not too left, not too right, not too perfect... still good match
I have really mixed feelings about this drama. It started really good and I was hooked from very beginning and I couldn't stop myself from watching next epiosodes and in the end I binge-watched this and "Still 2gether" and defo I don't regret this. This drama has many sweet and funny moments and even side-characters are rly nice, only thing lucking is intimacy. Before Tine and Wat started dating it was good but after that I kinda expected their relationship to be more intimate. And yep I know it was filmed during covid so its not even about some crazy kisses scenes (can't say it wouldn't be nice though) but it felt more like watching bromance in some parts. I rly understand that every couple is different and not everybody likes skinship (I'm this kind of person myslef) but still something was missing... At first I gave this series lower rating but after finishing "Still 2gether" I changed it as I realized how much this drama grew on me and how much I will miss my time with those characters. In the end I even started listning to Scrubb songs altough I dont unerstand the lyrics but now I can "feel it" and damn... Tine and Sarawat defo own them now :D So... Yes, this drama has some flaws but it's still rly good one so I can recommend it wholeheartedly. And for me... I just started rewatching :)Esta resenha foi útil para você?

Really Cute Romance, worth the watch
Okayyyy i'm giving this a high point because i personally love this so much. Although near the end it was kinda off with the typical girl thingy and the terrific highfive, it was still a really cute watch ! It was my first ever BL and i'm sure it was many others' too. totally suggest first timers to BLs to watch this, it's a game changer and will make you want to watch more BLs. I just rly rly love the whole vibe this show had when it aired and it's really so comforting and i love how brightwin are still very close up till now.Esta resenha foi útil para você?
Sarawat is a perfect boyfriend!
I almost skipped this drama because of the comments. I really enjoyed the series and it kept my heart fluttering and smiling. I've watched 120+ BLs and I don't think this drama deserves so much criticism.Even though I agree that some parts were annoying such as Tine being a cry baby the whole time and acting like he doesn't understand Sarawat's feelings even when he straight up kisses him and confesses his feelings a million times. Tine REALLY LOVES to come up with random scenarios and doubt about Sarawat's feelings for him then ends up misunderstanding, doubting and breaking up with Sarawat until Sarawat or someone gives him recorded evidence that his doubt isn't real, Tine annoyed me the most in the last 3 episodes but I really enjoyed the first 10 episodes.
Also to those calling this drama a "Bromance," lmao I wish if every bromance was as hot and romantic as the main couple in this drama
Sarawat was literally the best thing in the whole drama, he's so hot and so is his character, his flirting, teasing smiles and smirks at Tine never failed to make me skip a heart beat. He was the least annoying character, actually nothing ever was annoying about him. He always loved Tine and was clear about his own feelings. Tine is so insecure as heck.

The acting was good! I think Winn takes the cake for the best performance, but everyone did a good job. Gunsmile facial expressions: comedy gold. Love them.
Aesthetically I would say is nothing special, the normal BL quality standard. For a serie that talks so much about music, I don't have much to say about the score. It didn't really stand out. The songs that were played as part of the plot were ok, but I don't have any desire to listen to them outside of the context of the serie.
Unfortunately, the serie doesn't have much rewatch value to me, especially because it kind of declines in quality with the progression of the episodes. The last ones are not great, and that ruins the rewatching experience for me. But it does still have a special place in my heart.

My first BL
(Don't judge me on my english guys😛...)2gether the series is my first ever bl🥰...I completed this drama in one night. Can you believe it?🤯and I would recommend others to watch it too. I got to know about bl through my sister....when she first suggested me to watch it...I totally avoided it because in our country, actors in movies/dramas portray a gay character doing girly things only...that was the reason why I avoided to watch it. But after a year I don't know why i justed wanted to watch it....and it was the best decision of my life😍.

An Adorable Comfort Watch
This was such a comfort watch. This is the BL series that launched the popularity of this sub-genre on the international stage. This series isn't highly innovative. The leads are attractive, but their chemistry on screen is solid. The initial premise of the show is a bit problematic. It starts with an aggressive, flamboyant queer character chasing a straight man to be his boyfriend. The rather stubborn, flamboyant character named Green can't take a hint or a no. Tine then looks for someone to be his significant other to deter Green. Initially, Tine thinks of finding a girl as his fake girlfriend, but to no avail. Tine, with the brain trust of his close friends, comes up with the popular Sarawat as a fake boyfriend.
It is obvious Sarawat likes Tine fairly early on. I thought that was initially a little weird. However, as the series progresses, we learn that Sarawat has had a long-time crush on Tine. These flashbacks, which give greater context to Sarawat's and Tine's earlier interactions, are fantastic.
Tine eventually falls for Sarawat, and the relationship becomes sweet. There are a handful of kisses, and sex is only implied. It is not the best BL series I have seen yet. However, it is highly enjoyable and seems like a great comfort watch.
The side BL couples could use a little more development.

Cute-looking at the beginning, but extremely underwhelming at the end
Story:Well, there is not much of a plot going on, which is kinda regular thing for bl-dramas set in high school or university about two cute boys meeting each other and falling in love, so i wasn't expecting much in this regard. But the show surprised me, turning a bit trivial story of fake-dating into one of the worst screenplays i've seen in bl-drama.
The two main characters are pretty inconsistent in their actions and motivations, especially towards the end of the show. It's clear that their relationships were portrayed in a certain way in order to appeal to general public more, and it was, obviously, successful, considering how popular the show was and is. For me personally, the absence of any queer themes from the main story was very off-putting.
Pacing is a bit weird, though it is definitely not the worst part of the whole show.
Secondary characters are quite boring and single-dimensional at the best, and all girls in the show have absolutely no personality or purpose besides being a cheap plot-devise to make main leads jealous or angry.
Humor is questionable — sometimes it made me smile and laugh. sometimes it made me cringe, but i guess overall it was somewhat okay, though i really hated how green was portrayed as a somewhat stereotypical feminine gay man and basically used as some kind of laughingstock at the same time.
Acting:
Win did a pretty good job as a newcomer, his acting had its ups and downs, and he was by no means perfect all the time, but it was okay. Bright, as more experienced, on the other hand, looked pretty weak in comparison. His acting felt a bit forced and unnatural even in the beginning, but it got noticeably worse towards the end of the show. Chemistry between them was kinda there at the beginning, but completely disappeared by the episode when they started dating.
Music:
It's good. Like really good, the best part of the show, probably.
Rewatch value:
I wouldn't rewatch it unless someone paid me for doing it.
