Five Stars

I have high hopes for the ending of this drama! This episode was so emotional and atmospheric. It was my favourite yet, I think.Usually I’m not as interested in the family drama but this episode was more engaging and I actually enjoyed those parts. Finally all of the secrets are coming to light and it’s enjoyable to watch. Kang going back to Wando was 100% the highlight of this episode. It was crucial for his character development and I’m pretty sure the writer is gonna continue that next week and I hope the ending lets Kang go back to Wando. It was an excellent writing choice to have Kang find out about both Chayoung’s illness and her identity as his first love in this episode. The romance has picked up now but it doesn’t feel forced or rushed. The slow development of Chayoung and Kang’s relationship has been a joy to watch and I feel pretty satisfied with the slow burn. I hope the writer is able to give us a satisfying conclusion to their love story, though I have a feeling she will. This episode had less lighter moments than those prior (though it still had a few funny ones) so I have a feeling it’s gonna be quite heavy emotionally from now on? I feel like I’m gonna cry a lot in the next two weeks.I can’t believe how much my opinion has changed since starting this drama. I was once unsure about it’s structure and a little disinterested. Now I’m so emotionally engaged and the drama has come to mean a lot to me. I don’t want it to end :(
