It was like watching a Taiwanese SKAM!
I really enjoyed this. Really. If anyone has watched the male/male SKAM series (any of them), you'll know what I mean when you watch this. Except this was longer and involved way more detail and characters and side plots all in one, but it covered many issues for young male/male couples just as SKAM does, while telling a great story and really drawing in the viewer, inciting emotions on relatable or interesting scenarios and topics. And the acting of the cast was fantastic!I personally wasn't too bummed about the way it ended, as I didn't actually like Yu Xi-Gu. I felt like the actor didn't line up with what the character was supposed to be and so he came across a bit flat to me, I didn't get the feeling he was really properly present as a character next to Xiang Hao-Ting, who was impossible not to notice (as a character and regarding the actor who played him). But that's just personal opinion on a single character, the actual ending was still very good (in a sad way). I've heard some negative things mentioned about plagiarism of this story or something, but I'm not going to let that affect my view of this series.
It really is very good, with a very organic flow and great cast chemistry. Very easy on the tropes, and when they do come up, they're not too eye-rolling and cringey. Xiang Hao-Ting is a fantastic main character, very hetero/masculine but not shy to openly and dramatically fangirl over Yu Shi-Gu, it was honestly pretty adorable.

Idk How To Feel, But Listen
Ok so, I’m honestly very stuck on how to feel about this BL, don't get me wrong I loved it, I feel like a lot of us loved it until the end. But even with the ending I want to have an open mind on how it ended and try not to bring down this show because of it. I know some people on the reviews and comments have said how it’s not necessary to have such a sad ending and kill off the ML and I agree, but maybe because a lot of the BL I’ve watched have happy endings and I barely watch on purpose or come across a sad ending do I feel like having a sad ending once in a while is refreshing. It sucks and it's not what the majority of watchers like but it's more... realistic? Life is not always happy and life doesn't always have happy endings. So I feel like this story having this ending is in a way refreshing regardless of how depressing it was. Since we have no other ending it’s good to just accept it as it is and try to look at it in a different perspective and maybe that way we can enjoy the show more. I know I sound like a dumbass making this deeper than it is but I like to see things on a deeper level most of the times. And this show was honestly really good, the tension the main couple had and chemistry was unmatched, I haven't felt this way about a BL in a while, the way it made me feel was something I haven't felt in so long with BL since these days BL's are all pretty much the same. But this one was different. And it does hurt a lot that we didn't get that happy ending, and god Xi Gu deserved that happy ending. But I guess that's just how life is for some of us, unfair. And I like that realism. It's beautiful, it's real, it's unique. And yeah. As for the second couple, I hated it, it was so cringe and bad and the age gap................... normally I wouldn't mind age gaps but like you gotta have good chemistry for that to slide with me, these 2 were like so weird. I didn't feel anything with them and at times I felt disgusted. If I could choose, I would make the second couple go through what the main couple went through instead of them. Cause seriously every frame those 2 were in, made me wanna ball my eyes out. Horrible chemistry. IDEK why Zhi Gang even likes Bo Xiang, like? A lot wasn't established and a lot of details were missed. But whatever. Overall good show, wish it had a different ending but that's all we get so might as well make peace with it. I feel like this might be impossible, but I’m hoping for more BL shows In the future with Wayne Song and Huang Chun Chih as leads, and if it does happen, pls... happy ending.Esta resenha foi útil para você?

Okay so, I watched History3:make our days count as soon as it aired. The acting is amazing as the actors did an extraordinary job. I personally thought the ending was unique and original. We always get these nice and sometimes even unrealistically good endings but this time they did something different and I appreciated that. I love the cast and just because the ending wasn’t all cute and rainbows doesn’t mean that the whole series isn’t worth it. I get it! I cried too! But because of the ending I will not start hating the actors or the producers nor will my opinion of the overall series change. I really recommend people to watch it! Although the ending is sad and devastating, yall can just skip the last episode and finish the series on ep9! I appreciate their hard work and I loved the fact that they did something out of the ordinary and my opinion for the plot of a series will not change just because it had a sad ending! Some explain please
Can someone explain to me what happened at the end of the final episode I was very confused why were they broken up or is he dead like what's going on?. I felt like during the whole episodes of watching the series they were going somewhere but episode 10 felt like I was looking at a whole different drama. I mean I felt like this was a really good serious and all the characters were really well written I loved how they had like a different type of love and having to fight for it the stuff in the difficulties that some people do face in reality.Esta resenha foi útil para você?

It was a solid Bl until the writer's decided to kill off Yu Xi Gu! It was one of those moments that you wonder why tf did we go through soo mutch just for him to die in the end. It did piss me off like most other people! Over all it's a good BL i would recomend it maybe just skip ep20 unless you wanna go through a shity ending! I would just recomend you watching and making your own conclusionof what you think! Esta resenha foi útil para você?

Beautifully Tragic (I haven't cried this hard in a long time...)
Honestly, I don't know how to feel about this title overall.I absolutely loved the acting, the beautiful relationship cultivated by Yu Xi Gu and Xiang Hao Ting. You could feel the chemistry between them, especially in the steamier scenes. I've seen some people didn't like how many "sex scenes" there were, but I thought that all of them were perfectly done (with the right amount of skinship and lust) and all served a plot purpose/to push the story forward.
The kisses between the two ML are so passionate and, I know I keep using this word, beautiful. They reminded me of what it is like to be so in love with someone at the beginning of your relationship, when everything is new and you are just exploring each other. It reminded me of being 17 and the energy and passion of being young (which I am saying now as a 22 year old woman who is soon to marry her high-school sweetheart of 5 years). The pure lust that XHT repeatedly showed for YXG also just reminded me of my boyfriend, now fiancee, back when we were teenagers. This is all to say that for anyone who has ever been so deeply in love with another person, regardless of gender or sexuality, it is so extremely easy to feel nostalgic about the excitement of being with that person.
******Warning: Major Spoilers Ahead**********
I think the aformentioned reasons are why this ending hit me so hard. I like to read reviews before watching a show, and although I typically don't like to spoil things for myself, I was worried when the reviews said that the ending was awful and so to protect my sanity I read on. So I went into the second half of the series knowing that YXG was going to pass away--- and I do think that for me, that made it easier to deal with. But on the other hand, I am, too, so angry at the writer for not giving XHT and YXG a happy ending. I understand that "life" isn't always perfect, but YXG deserved much much better than being killed off at 18 before he had a chance to really live the life he deserved.
This ending made me reflect on my own life, and I cried extremely hard for YXG but also for XHT who was left behind. I'd like to think that my own love story is of the same caliber as YXG x XHT (in the sense of I also have a beautiful relationship with someone who is my whole world, who makes me so giddy and happy and who is so good to me). That being said, I cannot imagine losing my person, and so this turn of events greatly hurt my heart.
I'm hoping that one day I can think about this series and not want to bawl my eyes out. I also hope that one day we get an alternate ending for our MLs because there is absolutely a universe out there somewhere in which YXG and XHT love each other and stay together until they both pass of old age.
Overall, 9/10 for a 10/10 series with a -1/10 ending. For now, I am conflicted and I don't know if I love or hate this series. I do know that it was beautifully done and that I will always remember and carry this story with me. Now, if you'll excuse me, I'm going to go cry in the shower some more and contemplate the meaning of life and what it means to love someone.

MUST WATCH
For my first BL drama, it's set the standard high. I don't know what I expected from this show BUT NOT THIS!The pacing is perfect, nothing moves too quickly or too slowly. The story is your typical high school romance - but it uses it so well. It deals with the uncertainty of life after school, money, food and also unaccepting parents.
Main couple:
Their romance is so legit. At first, I was unsure how realistic it would feel as Hao Ting was basically a stalker, but it progressed naturally. The plot where they have to wait to be together is AMAZING! When they are together, the show touches on real-life issues like lack of communication and homophobic parents. And they handle it perfectly.
Secondary couple:
This couple feels more like you're typical TV 'perfect' couple. I love their subplot at the start, it makes their romance even more satisfying. Their relationship is legit and real and I love it.
Intimate scenes:
I gotta say, I am inexperienced in this field, however, they do feel real. You don't see anything, but you know it's happening.
Ending:
Sorry, but the ending is unsatisfying. You will be confused at the last episode and you will not accept the fact that the show ended like that. But think on the bright side, a new season with an alternate ending might be coming!
Basically, this show is perfect.

the most angsty HIStory ever
I watch this series back in 2019 and the story was so beautiful. even though haoting was a freakin jerk in the beginning of the series, but I love him when he simps over xigu. I love how they made xigu being a smart, shy, and cool guy that excels in school, but they made him too pitiful. I cried the whole series seeing xigu works so hard but still be bugged by everyone. But at the end of the series I HATE HOW THEY RUINED HAOTING AND XIGU HAPPINESS BY A TRAFFIC ACCIDENT? WTF?? I remember being so fckin frustrated by this. It would be great if the main couple had another main series...anw it's still of of the best HIStory ever, I would recommend it if you want something angsty.

The bully who falls in love with the bullied isn't new but it still worked for this series. The progression was done great and the balance between the two main couples was also good.
Wayne's acting was astonishing that I believed every word he said and every emotions he conjured. Don't get me wrong Huang is also a good actor but I was more impressed with Wayne.
A highly recommended BL series.

I loved this BL
Make Our Days Count was a rather good BL. I liked both the main couple and side couples story's. I know a lot of people like this one because Yu Xigu dies, but I liked the relationship building up to where it was. How Yu Xigu talks about his parents and openings up and how Hoating never gives up till he eventually wins him over. Then just as there relationship gets really good, Yu Xigu dies. I think they did a very good job at expressing how devastated Hoating was by his death, and it made my cry.I also liked the side couple, and how there relationship went from becoming friends to lovers. They did a good job at portraying them.
I would re-watch this multiple times and would recommend it.

Excellent Screenplay and Direction that Exacts Solid Performances
I was especially impressed by Shao Hui Ting's screenwriting, Tsai Mi Chieh's direction, and Wayne Song's performance as Xiang Hao Ting. The arc of Song's performance is truly impressive as he undergoes three significant transformations from an immature student who disrespects authority at home and at school to a confused and then infatuated adolescent trying to understand and accept his first and only crush on another guy to more studious and empathetic individual impacted by his nascent relationship with his crush, an academically superior student, to a more mature university graduate still mourning the loss of the love of his life four years earlier. It's clear to me now from the title, references to "loving someone forever," and the orphaned Yu Xi Gu (beautifully played by Huang Juan Zhi) whose aunt tells him as a child that his late parents are in the heavens exploring the stars, speaking to them as he gazes at the night sky, that eternal love may include the loss of one's beloved. The imagery, especially the twice and judicious use of light bulbs reminiscent of stars, helps underscore the notion that those who die dwell among the stars in the night sky. TIng's screenplay, and especially the slow of exposition of Yu Xi Gu's death during the nineteenth chapter, is beautifully crafted. Chieh's direction of Song's performance was especially evident in the last two chapters. I know there are those who bemoan sad endings in BL dramas. Truth be told, I prefer happy endings except when the story makes sense with a sad ending. Indeed, life is not always happy endings. I did not watch this series through the end last year and I am happy I went back and watched the whole thing from the beginning. Watch it and latch on to the performances of the four leads.Esta resenha foi útil para você?
