- I gave a 10 for everything because i loved every aspect of this drama! The story was sweet, funny and adorable! It's not focused only on romance but also has alot ( ALOT) of funny moments between the dorm students!
- The actors were amazing! And i loved how MANY actors there were, it made the interactions so much more fun and it really gave me that sweet highschool friendship feeling! If this is your first japanese drama, the acting ofcourse can seem a bit 'extra' to you, but i like that way of acting alot. It made this drama so much more fun and light, there was not an episode where i didn't laugh! And even though the acting was pretty 'extra' , it also has some serious parts and you can see how characters change througout this drama!
- The music was great too! the opening song is so catchy! I already downloaded it and i sing along with it everytime XD
I am definitely re-watching this drama! If you like japanese drama's with alot of funny and sweet moments and a bit of 'extra' acting and you want something lighthearted , I'd definitely recommend this to you!

Haha, I started this drama due to a recommendation and it really caught my attention since the first minutes, I won't waste time writing the plot 'cause it's already in the description but I'd like to review some points.
Cast: I LOVED Ikuta Toma's character in this series! Nakatsu was my absolute favourite from beginning to end, I wish nothing but happiness to anyone who resembles him. Also, Oscar was fantasic (lol), so ridiculously hilarious. Sekime was such a cutie boy. The doctor and Nanba were really nice characters too. I guess they are my favorite ones. Special mention to Nanba's mom for being caring and empathetic to Mizuki.
About to the main couple... the actress was never of my entire liking, I disliked her character too. Also, as much as I love Oguri Shun, I didn't enjoy this role of his so much... Until the very end, I felt there was a lack of chemistry between Mizuki and Sano. I ignore how are their roles in the manga, but like a simple spectator that's my opinion. Being things like that, most of their scenes together were boring for me and didn't care about the relationship because it was already totally predictable since the first episode xD
Aspects: Comedy 10/10, Drama 6/10, Romance 4/10. For a high school J drama was fine, doesn't go out of the standars I know.
Overall, a truly hilarious series to watch on a lonely weekend at home. I laughed a lot, it totally accomplished its mission :)

Nakatsu was really funny in the manga, but Toma takes it to a whole new level! The “I’m not gay but Mizuki is so cute but I’m not gay” thing is made of win in both media. He's a great character who provides much of the comic-relief in the series.
For those of you who read and the manga this drama does stretch far from it. So if you loved the manga, you may have to view this as a separate thing.
Everyone should just watch for the great performance of ikuta toma.

I didn`t grow up with this drama - So I`m less lenient
Like the headline reads, while I definitely grew up on Japanese dramas(like Hana Yori Dango, Last Cinderella, Mei-chan no Shitsuji...) I didn`t grow up on this one. I did hear about it a lot. Horikita Mari, Oguri Shun, Mizushima Hiro and Ikuta Toma are all actors I immensely enjoy watching. They are, to me, like an OG group of Japanese dramas and whenever I see them in something, it reminds me of my childhood. That being said, this drama should still appeal to me. For some odd reason, I find cosplaying female characters very interesting to watch, because situations that arise always draw out at least a chuckle out of me.(plus, movie "She`s the Man" is one of my favorite comedies of all time). It, for some reason, doesn`t as much as I thought it would, especially since, apart from the cast, I like some of the mangaka`s work this drama is based on.The plot points, the ending, the comedy and the actions characters take are all too familiar and though that isn`t an excuse, they aren`t as well executed as I thought they would be. Just physically, Horikita Mari is a bad option for a believable male cosplay since she is obviously, very feminine-looking, even though she is talented, no question about it. I don`t know, guess it just doesn't possess that magic of nostalgia to make me see this drama as that golden nugget.

u dont see the lead female falling all over or crawling under or over some dark staircase in a corner crying..mizuki is fresh! shun oguri plays is role over perfectly to very end..u can see him grow and come to understand him little by little and empathize..nakatsu is the BEST.. u cannot stop yourself taking his side rather than sano's.EVERYBODY..I MEAN EVERYBODY..is perfect in their roles

too much cross dressing..some guys should just NOT ever were female clothes..its disturbing to watch

-It was a little short for the amount of things put into it, but I didn't mind it
-The music wasn't great, but I did find the introduction song thing pretty funny
But overall, the show was great and you should definitely watch it! I enjoyed it and I think you will too!

I loved everything about this drama, was so new to me, so refreshing, the story was good, the actors were on point with the acting, it was super funny and engaging in every single episode!
No other drama did that to me ever before!
It's a must watch on my list and one of my absolute favourites!

It's such a feel good vibe kind of drama, the comedy was superb and there were so many funny scenes i laughed my butt off and will never forget about for as long as i live. It's a gem that needs to be protected and imortalized forever.
Every episode has a purpose and every thing they do is important for the story and to give information on all the characters, there are a lot of them XD It's a school filled with rebelious boys after all and a lost girl in the middle of it all XD
I'm actually out of words to explain how good this drama is without giving away major spoilers because i want you guys to watch it and be mesmerized and shocked as i was when i watched it lol
Some scenes will forever be burned in your memory and you will never get rid of them for as long as you live, trust me on this XD
IT IS REALLY THAT GOOD!

The story of the drama was enjoyable. I have only read a few volumes of the manga so I can not compare it well to that, but the writing had a good mix of both funny and serious moments which kept me hooked to the end. Although I did find the ending slightly disappointing and nothing that has not been overused in Japanese dramas.
Overall the cast gave a good performance, especially Ikuta Toma as he shone in his role. Some of the reactions from the cast could be over the top, but as this added to the overall comedic feel of the show I felt this was alright. There was a good mix of characters so everyone should find someone that they like!
The soundtrack is brilliant and fits the moments of the drama well. I even find myself listening to the tracks from time to time, so the music was a job well done!
Overall I would recommend this drama to those who like more light hearted school based drama with cross dressing, romance and want to watch something that makes them smile. It is also a good first, or early, Japanese drama to watch for those who want to start!
