Let's begin with the story. True to its name, 'Time' is a dark, sad criminal drama. It took me a while to get hooked, but I did. To be honest, if it wasn't because of Soo Ho's (Kim Jung Hyun) condition and limited time to live, this drama would've just been another criminal drama about rich people abusing their power and forgetting how to be a decent person; however, after Soo Ho discovers he's sick, we are given the first lesson of the many in this drama: no one lives forever, no matter how rich you are, you'll die. That stuck with me throughout the whole drama and will continue to do so forever, because I never gave it a thought before and even if I did, I never got to actually see it.
The plot begins to twist after Ji Hyun's sister, Ji Eun, dies. Of course, something has to be the catalyst and I was okay with it, but things started happening really fast. For me, Ji Eun's death was enough to develop the whole plot and there was no need to make the female lead suffer more, but they still did; probably because they wanted us to feel for the poor Ji Hyun even more, but it still seemed forced and rushed.
The characters are another story. The emotions are portrayed really nicely, especially the first episodes, but only with the two leads. We don't really get to see the personality of the secondary characters and they feel pretty much like filler. There are characters that I just can't understand why they even exist. Of course, this is forgiveable and the show still managed to get me on my feels, but I felt like I was missing so much, so many backstories...
The acting was still amazing, especially from Kim Jung Hyun. I cried and felt so much with him, I felt his pain and his guilt, and that's something I didn't feel with any other characters, like Eun Chae Ah or Min Seok, until the lastest episodes. Seo Hyun was also really great, and her acting would really boost whenever she was on the screen with Jung Hyun. I got to empathize with her character, too (who wouldn't, poor girl), but at certain point her attitude seemed to change so drastically I didn't even notice. This made me mad, because it was only shown to us the ''new'' Ji Hyun and not how she was really feeling, but that's still forgiveable because, honestly, you understand her and it's not difficult to imagine how she was really feeling.
As many of you know, Kim Jung Hyun had to quit this drama sooner than expected due to his mental health, which meant his character, Soo Ho, would die sooner. Honestly, his death scene felt plain. I cried, I really did, but something was just off. It was really quick and out of nowhere, with no explanation but your guessing. This kind of threw me off because the drama was literally just about Soo Ho's remaining time and the crimes that Seol Ji Hyun had to solve, so his death was actually a really important scene and it wasn't developed well enough.
After this, the show became more of a mess. The directors failed immensely to drive the attention to our left-alone lead Ji Hyun and the criminal part of the plot had been dragged way too much. They managed to give it an average ending, but again, plain. We didn't get to see how the situation was affecting the rich characters except from Eun Chae Ah, we only got to see their non-changing greedy personality. Finishing the episode there was one thing left unexplained, which made it feel like there could be a second season; thank God there isn't, because the story just couldn't go any further.
Overall, I really (really) enjoyed 'Time' and the soundtrack, especially the instrumental pieces, is so beautiful. It is enjoyable enough and really emotional, kind of succeeds on making you feel attached to the characters (mainly Soo Ho) and gives really precious life lessons. Still, that doesn't change the fact that it was a little hard for me to watch (I dropped it twice) and that it could've been better. I wouldn't watch it twice, but it will stick with me for a while and I don't regret doing it. Would recommend, if you're patient and don't mind badly written secondary characters that much.

This drama was so disappointing
this was so disappointing….i really wanted to like this, like staying up till 3am, that’s how badly I wanted to like this, but once again it tells a story that everybody’s familiar with– ML is rich, FL is poor, ML abuses the FL, realizes he has a conscience, falls in love with her, apologizes, goes back to abusing her, and the cycle never fucking ends. idk why dramas like romanticizing abuse like this, but it’s disgusting and disgraceful. FL really deserved better then this, and I don’t have the patience for a show so predictable.Esta resenha foi útil para você?
The drama was filled with despair, negativity, hardship, sadness, distress, and backstabbing. It was amazing! The bad guys were good, too. I still remember her fiancé having a cute looking face but he cheated on her when she needed him most. I just can't accept the fact that I know the drama wasn't supposed to end this way?
All I can say is that Kim Jong Hyun drawing the character so well was disgusting, but then he became a man of honor! I like how he simply can't be honest with Ji Hyun about how he feels. He never said he loved her or fell in love with her. He just said that he wanted to see her, that he was thinking about her and he didn't want to be unhappy but....
For me, this drama died after what happened to Ji Hyun? He was such a sweetheart... so cute even when he was treating her. It was so sad what happened to him!! He deserves to be happy during his last few moments at least.
This drama teaches us how to spend time with people who are valuable to us, how to respect someone who is gone, and how to overcome regrets in the past.
But the only thing I know when you want to hurt your heart you should watch this drama you will feel a great deal of pain.

Excelente
JUST SOOOO SAD!!!
So as you can see, I dropped this show. There was a VERY BIG REASON WHY I DID IT...which will be explained below in the Story/Cast section of this review. But yes I did drop this drama.STORY: Overall, the story wasn't bad. It had great elements and had A LOT OF MYSTERY to it which kept it interesting...The one thing that contributed to me dropping this drama is THE STORY WAS JUST SO SAD!! I knew entering this drama that it would be (don't get me wrong). You read the synopsis and know that it falls under the category of melodrama...BUT HOW MUCH SADNESS CAN ONE PERSON TAKE IN THEIR LIFE!? The writers just piled sadness and heartbreak onto Seo Hyun's character..so much so that iT sort of became unrealistic because I started thinking REALLY?! This is a major reason why I dropped this drama.
CAST: The other MAIN reason I dropped this drama was because Kim Jung Hyun had to drop out of the drama and get healthy (FOR ALL GOOD REASONS OBVIOUSLY). He was a major reason I was watching and enjoying this drama. He is AMAZING in this drama. His acting is unbelievable! This role was made for him. SO to hear that he had to leave early which would affect the storyline, I just couldn't finish the drama. The other actors were doing great too but for me, Kim Jung Hyun was THE ACTOR for me in this drama. I can't wait for him to get better and to see him in another drama because HE IS AMAZING AT WHAT HE DOES! To know that he wasn't going to be at the end of the drama and there would be episodes without him and that the writers probably had to change the ending because of him leaving, I just couldn't make myself finish it.
MUSIC: Don't remember much about the music
RE-WATCH: I will not try and finish this drama
OVERALL: If you are looking for a good drama with AMAZING ACTING and just crushingly sad...WATCH THIS DRAMA! I just could not finish it and usually I am fine with sad dramas and mysteries. The acting was AMAZING and the story was really building up to be good but IT WAS JUST SO SAD! Kim Jung Hyun leaving was the final straw for me. I hope he gets better soon because HIS ACTING IS OUT OF THIS WORLD!

Time is a drama that deals heavily with the weight and importance of time, and really questions one's own use of time itself.
Spoken through a gripping story filled with love, betrayal, and death - the story deals with 4 characters, who's own unique stories intertwines in unfortunate fate.
While it appears as if the antagonist is clear from the get go, the audience is given a chance to sympathise with each character, and it seems as if goes much deeper than just what appears on surface level. The flow of time, individual circumstances, and events, things that are for the most part, uncontrollable, appears to be the ultimate culprit at the end of the day.
The acting is, for the most part, spectacular.
Kim Jung Hyun has capitalised on this chance as main lead, and has absolutely hushed critics since his little fiasco at the presscon. He portrays his loud, obnoxious, persona perfectly while also managing to capture the most tiniest details of warming up to his kinder self.
Seohyun was a pleasant surprise for me. Critiqued negatively since day one of acting, I honestly didn't expect much from her, but she captured her role quite well. There were obviously a few kinks here and there, and some scenes that could definitely be improved (especially one particular scene in episode 6...), but for the most part, she pulled it off okay in my opinion.
The side roles in Kim Joon Han and Hwang Seung Un are stellar as seen in past roles, and they capture their more darker parts well. Both filled with guilt and faced with dire choices to make, their struggle to fight their inner conflicts are highlights within the drama.
Music is generally quite good. Unfortunately, it's not quite memorable - which was why I gave it the score that I did.
Definitely flying under the radar at the moment as dramas like Mr Sunshine and Life have stolen the spotlight - but this drama is on equal footing to the two at the very least. The actors while good, are newer and not well known, but don't let the lack in popularity dissuade you from giving this one a try. They are shorter episodes, and may be a little different from what we are used to, but it is definitely worth the watch.

I recommend to watch, because characters and the story both perfect. It is a sorrowful, dismal, distressed story about his life embracing it around with love, troth, expectancy and hope. I am be holden I can translating Time. Nobody be sorrowful by this dreadful, awe inspiring drama it can show us which way is the best for living. To me, even I saw only ep 08 yet, this series is definitely 10/10!

Kim Jung Hyun who plays Cheon Soo Ho, him playing this character is a little different from the last SKDrama I have seen him play. He has the eyes I like with his long eyelashes. I don't know if I feel bad for him or the character he is playing you will need to watch as to why I feel this way. The Character Cheon Soo Chul is Cheon Soo Ho's half-brother and the writer made him such a Sick Jerk. I want to slap this actor's character who angered me! The reality is the Director picked the right person to play the half-brother, Kim Joon Han, who looks the part. Seo Hyun who plays Seol Ji Hyun, I wasn't fixed on this character unit episode 18, then Ms. Hyun started acting her part. I hated her character after that! I don't the basis of this story everyone was moping... except those who were trying to cover it things up. The main leads are the only ones that carried this story. You all may like this kind of drama... it just amazes me how several people will cover up a murder to cause more murders. I just want to drop this KDrama... but I will deal with it because of Kim Jung Hyun.

Pretty people and great clothes... Story & acting, meh.
I watched this series bc of the reported drama with Kim Jung Hyun involving his controlling ex-girlfriend and her demanding "no skinship" and him making the writers rework scenes, then quitting before filming was completed. (He did go get MH treatment and returned in one form for CLOY and Mr. Queen -- a testimony to seeking MH care!)You can see how his acting worsens over series, particularly as his character is supposed to soften and instead seems even more stilted in posture, not matching the words in the script. Killing him off from the GBM when he quit was probably a better story line in the end. (Note: Medical info on brain tumor was accurate.) FL's drastic personality change is not believable and makes her unlikeable; she's awful when she whines to her BFF that ML was the last person she could trust... um, what about this friend who moved in with you and has done nothing but support you?? 2nd ML is only truly complex character and I watched to the end to see what would happen with him (but I'm not sure that was worth the time invested TBH).
Underutilization of secondary cast. Noting amusing. No heartstrings pulled. However- costumer did well.

Its my first time writing a review, but i hope it wil be helpful.
I picked this one because the story seemed interesting, wich it is, its a dark drama emotional, sad and meaningfull. No suspense we know who the bad guys are and we know whatever they did but the good characters are stil looking for the truth, so let them do their thing. The chemistry is nice and we have a handsome and very sweet male lead, his personality is most attractive. Some did a good job at acting some little less, stil VERY watchable! The story is good, there is one line that is quite obvious but still we need to remember. (Why do you think we live? To be happy), some will find it not worth mentioning, but i think we stil do waste our time on negativeness and feeling bad for ourselves, while we still have the choice to be happy if we want. Nothing and no one can take that away, expect of ourselves, we need to live life more fully and enjoy the little beautiful things, whe don't know how much time we have left. So let us not be regretfull the time we have is ours, so we choose how to live it. And this drama lets you think about that precious time. Thats what i loved about this drama, So yeah its a good drama, its still airing so i believe it only can get better! Try it out. And Every one has a different taste, i can only speak for myself. And hey! Be happy.
