Both are time travel.
The male lead went in and out
Plots can be confusing as heck.
Some romance, some action, kind of mystery

when I think of "inside a game", Memories of the Alhambra is my first thought. the characters in both these dramas try to escape from the game- will they succeed or not? we find ourselves rooting for the characters' happy ending and thrilling escapes :)

Both dramas are about an augmented-reality game; while the ML in Love for Love’s Sake gets transported straight into the game and has to live by its rules, the game on the other hand bleeds into the reality of the ML in Memories of the Alhambra and things that occur in the game start to get real consequences. Both has romance.

Both involve games, which avatars looks like real people in the player's life... The interactions between the player's avatars and the real-life people are alike and the people are influencing their reality, because of the game.

MOA is a bit more fantasy-orientedcand a lot creeper.., while DL is more romantic-oriented.

Both are sci-fi stories with Park Shin Hye as female lead, with MotA being about augmented reality gaming (that is perhaps a bit too realistic), and Sisyphus being about time travel. In both shows, the ML is a rich CEO of a tech company, who initially seem rather obnoxious and somewhat rude. Their career paths also take a turn due to similar reasons. In both shows, it kind of feels like they’re fighting a battle they can’t win, no matter how much they try. Both have some moments with a lot of CGI, as well as fighting scenes. Also, both have some very unrealistic idea about programming, lol. There are some other scenes in the final episode where the shows reminded me of each other as well, however, those would be some heavy spoilers so I will not go into it.

Lost Romance is about a woman being sucked into a cheesy CEO-love romance book. She finds out that she's supposed to be the side character that bullies the FL of the romance book and is determined to capture the heart of the CEO while being friendly with the real FL. The relationship is hate-to-love.
Memories of the Alhambra is about a VR game glitching and becoming part of real life (it's hard to explain. Let's say that you were shot in game and die, you die in real life too. And, if you take off your VR glasses, the game console doesn't disappear). The relationship is also hate-to-love.
Both of these dramas focus on the death/coma of an important character and both focus on survivor's guilt.

Memories of the Alhambra is about a VR game turning into real life.
Meanwhile, Extraordinary You is about the characters of a comic book becoming self aware and trying to change their fates.
At first, these may not sound similar, but if you look harder you'll find many similarities.
Ignoring the fact that the relationship in Memories of the Alhambra is hate-to-love while Extraordinary You is more of a soul-mates relationship; the way that the main couple interact and try to change the foreseeable future is very similar. And the premise of both are being stuck in a fantastical world.

For Hyun bin.

Both shows have Hyun Bin in action. While MOTA has a convoluted plotline with romance on the side, CLOY has romance at the centre stage with an equally evolved plot on the sidelines.

I like CLOY's ending better though. And I also like the pairing with Son Ye-jin a lot more.

Both in mystery triller genre, include plot twists, things you never saw coming, relatively fast-paced and great plot.
