A Bruxa Boa (2018)

STORY: This, by far, is the best drama plot that isn't in the fantasy genre. It's a somewhat realistic plot (adapted for drama and excitement of course). The ending is pretty satisfying but it somehow felt too short lol I would have liked to see them a bit more after all of the troubles were over.

ACTING: The acting is soooooo gooood!!! You can't even notice that the twins are played by the same person! Even the tiniest expressions are different for both characters, and that makes it so impressive. I truly love the acting for this.

MUSIC: I liked the OST but is very generic so that's why it has a low score.

REWATCH VALUE: If you can't already tell be the rest of my review . . . I would TOTALLY REWATCH THIS!!!!!!!

Witchless Doormat

The thing that bothers me the most with any plot involving twins is how they usually sideline one of the twins for most of the drama, only to bring them back around its last stretch. It's always a big missed opportunity to explore an interesting and enjoyable twin dynamic. Unfortunately, this drama wasn't an exception; it had one of the twins benched after only a few episodes. The twins dynamic didn't play out well, and their resolution was half-hearted. While Ryu Soo Young was fine on his own, his chemistry with Lee Da Hae was definitely off, with either twins if that even matter. On the other hand, the female lead's daughter brought a lot of enjoyable moments. I wish she had more involvement to keep the drama lively.

Absolutely charming characters

Story: I think there were too many things happening and it's funny how some of them doesn't make sense. The ending is somewhat rushed, with some plotholes, dumb actions & strange conclusions. Nevertheless, it is a funny and light-hearted show that shouldn't be taken seriously. I think the charm of the show is definitely the characters: FL, ML, & 2nd ML. They're all sweethearts and I love watching them worry, hate & grow.

Characters: I read that some people dislike the FL for being a pushover, but isn't that the point? She's too kind for her own good and we get to watch her persevere with her traits & grow as a character. When she finally stands up for herself, the audience feels proud of her & relieved for her. I also like the ML for being such a sweetheart, even though I couldn't exactly pinpoint when he fell in love, and ambitious. The 2nd ML is also a sweetheart and it's obvious that he is sincerely in love with FL. I can't help but root for both of them :(

Y'a people must wonder whether this a good drama or not, but for me I like this drama. At the first episode, it might seems an old film but whoosh no, it's just their childhood story. The plot is so good, especially when Captain Song (main lead) appeared because he's too handsome, funny, and what i like the most about his character is that he has a heart, but it's just he's too shy to show. About Sun Hee (female lead) she's a bit fool, but somehow her personality captivated C.Songs heart. At first, it might seems like C.Song doesn't like Sun Hee //portraying Do Hee// but later he'll show how much he cares for her. I myself votes for C.Song but, I felt a little bit pit to CEO's son. I'll update again next week. But if you loved this drama, you'll freaking cry to wait for it's episodes cause it's airing once a week (Sundays.) About the OST, I love the "Be Happy" OST. It's youthful an fun~.

It’s just okay

First of all Lee Da Hae did a wonderful job playing opposite characters. She was not my problem throughout the drama. It was the villain female lead and the female lead’s husband. There acting was way overdone. The female lead threw things and had tantrums when I feel like anger can be portrayed in different ways. So, it just didn’t appeal to me on any level.

Story: It is your basic run of the mill story and was interesting enough for me to want to see what happened next. I mainly stuck around to see who killed the father and if his name would be restored. I also wanted to see what would happen to the female lead and whether her being too nice would give her a good ending.

The soundtrack is good. I feel in love the song No More Tears they played it in all the right moments.

No, I would probably not rewatch this drama again unless I needed something to play in the background while I work and I’m not paying attention to it.

Overall, it was decent enough to to keep me engaged. There were some moments where I had to fast forward because it was just to cheesy for me and then there were moments where I was happy that revenge found it’s place. If you are looking for something to pass the time while you wait for more episodes of your favorite drama to come out, then this would be a good one. Just don’t expect too much.
