Not everyone's cup of tea, but I still sip it

•Now, this isn't a show that would fit the typical bl romance standards of the present.

•First of all, the chemistry between Sarawat and Tine lacks physical intimacy. They basically share hugs, pecks and tight-lipped kisses. The sole basis for audience to believe in their relationships is the cheesy and flirty dialogues. This might not be convincing to many, but as a person who is not a big fan of physical chemistry, I was able to see this as a sign of their relationship.
• Even though communication is the only way through which we understand what their relationship status is, it also is another aspect in which they both lack. Sarawat's stoic nature and Tine's misunderstanding in the second half of the series is completely because they lacked proper communication. And by this, the show also becomes part of the never-ending list of "Shows that Have Lack of Communication", which by now is a clichéd thing.
•The storyline is fairly simple, and many would not understand the need for it to be dragged on beyond 8 episodes. But I feel like that's what was able to give us a better clarity on SarawatTine. I'm sure if the story would've been shorter, there would've been complaints on how fast their relationship progressed, especially considering that Tine was straight at the start of the story.
•I must say that for first time leads, Bright and Win did well, especially the latter. His performance as the cheeky and sassy Tine is remarkable for me, and it made me believe that he has a great future in the entertainment industry. Bright, on the other hand, was good for what he got. Sarawat's stoic and reserved nature was well-suited, given Bright's sharp visuals. But I sometimes found his smirk a bit off-putting. I also loved his vocals and guitar skills a lot.
• Gun as Green is by far a favourite casting choice for me. He was able to embody the annoying and cringey character without making want to gag or feel like his over-the-top, persuasive personality was totally unnecessary. His reactions and his silly arguments with his boyfriend were absolutely funny to me.
•The secondary couple, ManType weren't exactly show stealers for me. The limited screentime for them didn't help, but I still like them. However, the storyline of MilPhukong could've been utilised to make the show even more interesting. They had so much potential, given how their characters backgrounds are. I still consider them as a side couple whose potential GMMTV wasted.

•Overall, this show is fairly simple. It's not for ones who think that simple, friendly gestures can create the foundation for a romantic journey. It can be considered as a bromance with "Bro" being silent and the two characters actually admitting to loving each other romantically. It's good for me, as I love fluffy things.
