'The Art of Negotiation' rises to its highest domestic viewership
Actors Yoo Yeon Seok and Jung Kyung Ho will reportedly make special appearances in the upcoming tvN weekend drama Resident Playbook, starring Go Youn Jung, Shin Shi Ah, Kang Yoo Seok, and Jung Joon Won.
According to Star News, Yoo Yeon Seok and Jung Kyung Ho are to cameo in the new tvN drama Resident Playbook, scheduled to premiere in April. In response to the report, a tvN representative stated to Newsen, "Please check through the broadcast."
Resident Playbook is a spin-off of tvN's hit series Hospital Playlist and portrays the lives and friendships of residents in the obstetrics and gynecology department of Yulje Medical Center's Jongno branch.
As Resident Playbook takes place in the same universe, special appearances from Yoo Yeon Seok and Jung Kyung Ho, who played leading roles in the Hospital Playlist series, are highly anticipated.
Yoo Yeon Seok played Ahn Jeong Won, an associate professor in the pediatric surgery department at Yulje Medical Centre, and Jung Kyung Ho played Kim Jun Wan, an associate professor in the cardiothoracic surgery department, who later became the department chief.
Starring alongside them were Jo Jung Suk (as Lee Ik Jun), Jeon Mi Do (as Chae Song Hwa), and Kim Dae Myung (as Yang Seok Hyeong) — the beloved "99s" (medical school classmates from the class of '99').
Resident Playbook will premiere in April and will be available to stream on Netflix.
