The Disney+ original series Nine Puzzles has confirmed its release date for May 21.

Nine Puzzles is a mystery thriller that follows Yun Yi Na (Kim Da Mi), a criminal profiler who was the sole witness of an unsolved case from ten years ago, and violent crimes Detective Han Saem (Son Suk Ku), who was the lead investigator at the time and continues to suspect her as the culprit. Together, they delve into the secrets of a serial murder case that begins with a mysterious puzzle piece.

The K-drama is directed by The Spy Gone North director Yoon Jong Bin, with the screenplay penned by Tunnel writer Lee Eun Mi.

The poster captivates, resembling a detective novel cover. Its composition traces the movements of high school student Yun Yi Na — the sole witness — as she leaves school and heads home on the night of the murder that occurred ten years ago, sparking curiosity about what really happened on the day of the incident.

The red rope draped along the wall and the vivid crimson seen through a window — hinting at the murder scene — stand in stark contrast to the monochrome tone of the poster. The back view of Yun Yi Na standing under a flickering light at the gate, a police car stationed near her house, and Detective Han Saem seemingly pursuing her — all tease secrets waiting to be uncovered about "that night."

It remains to be seen how Yun Yi Na, who has lost all her memories of that night, and Detective Han Saem of the violent crimes unit, who persistently suspects her as the prime suspect — once a suspect and a detective, now a profiler and a detective — will work in unison on the new case.

Nine Puzzles will be available exclusively on Disney+, with six episodes releasing on May 21, followed by three on May 28, and the final two on June 4 — for a total of eleven episodes.
