The Chinese historical thriller Kill My Sins has confirmed its premiere date for February 7.

Set in the Tang Dynasty, the drama follows Gu Qing, who returns to the city of Luoyang under the name Ye Ping An. Opening a heart clinic, she uses her own life as bait to orchestrate a carefully plotted game of revenge.

Ye Ping An is an itinerant physician, who arrives in the Shendu (神都; 'divine capital') Luoyang in pursuit of a mysterious case from the past. Due to a series of bizarre medical cases, she is branded as a witch doctor. Cunning and adept at bewitching people, she becomes someone everyone avoids.

Yuan Shao Cheng, a deputy official at the Court of Judicial Review, hails from slums and is scorned as a "filthy rat." Though highly skilled, he receives no respect. He yearns for power, is ruthless and calculating, and constantly seizes opportunities to climb the ranks.

A murder case shakes the city of Luoyang. A nobleman is found dead in his own home. Before his death, he summoned Ye Ping An to treat his heart condition before his death, and she was also the only person present at the crime scene. Yuan Shao Cheng is assigned to the case. Though he senses something amiss, he puts Ye Ping An into a deadly situation for his own gain. No matter how one looks at it, Ye Ping An seems to be nothing more than a scapegoat in this murder case. But is that really the truth? No one sees that Ye Ping An already made the first move in her grand game of revenge.

Liu Shi Shi plays the lead role of Ye Ping An, and Shawn Dou plays Yuan Shao Cheng.

The Chinese drama also stars Zheng Ye Cheng, Xuan Lu, and Xu Jiao, among others. Kill My Sins is helmed by Strange Tales of Tang Dynasty's director Bai Shan

Kill My Sins will premiere on February 7, and will be available to stream on YOUKU.
