Enjoyable watch
I went on an 8 hours binge of this show and was taken aback by how good and invested I was. The show does a good job at getting you intrigued by episode 1. every minute is important, none are wasted on pointless plot point. The show is about Chan (Film) a crooked lawyer and Tin (Jam) a man seeking justice for his niece's death.
in terms of acting Film and Jam really stepped up their game. Chan is so unhinged at times that even I got scared. Tin is a lot closer to his emotions and the acting reflected it nicely.
the character growth was something I appreciated and it wasn't rushed. Chan went from being emotionless to starting to understand the people around him slowly but surely while keeping his unhinge side (which you slowly start to love).
Jam and Film have amazing chemistry, the way they look at each other says so much. I do think that the romance started lacking when we got near the end of the series. The show did a great job at building tension between the leads but failed when the tension reached a peak.
the only thing I have to say about the acting, is that See who plays Thaenthai (the son of the senator) was struggling at time to make me believe in the things he was feeling. Thaenthai has a very emotional storyline, he goes through a lot, but See failed to really portray that. I do believe that the actor has a lot of potential but is in need of more acting workshop.
one positive thing I can say is that he had nice chemistry with Pearl who plays Thee (our favourite bodyguard). See was also really good at making me dislike him but also like him......
as for the plot, I was intrigued from beginning to end, the show did a good job with getting the viewers invested enough to keep watching.
I do think that the final plot twist was not surprising and also easy to guess. I still enjoyed watching our characters discover clues and finally find out what really happened.
I want to add that this show was clearly made with a limited budget, the special effects were rough at times and you could clearly see that it was CGI. but I think the plot and acting really made up for that.

An unfulfilled potential
Things I liked:- I really enjoyed the acting and chemistry between the two main characters
- Charn's fake smile was a highlight for me
Things I didn't like:
- Unfortunately, the other characters felt shallow and the actor's performances were not up to par, especially the exaggerated portrayal of the villainous politician, Charn's ex-boyfriend, and the overly made-up aunt
- The plot felt illogical and superficial, and it seemed like the murder case could have been resolved in just half of the episodes. It was simply a matter of finding out it wasn't the son's fault, discovering the existence of the doll, locating the doll, and then the final confrontation scene
- The cinematography left much to be desired, with choppy scenes and inadequate special effects and editing. The "explosion" scene was particularly laughable
- Additionally, the romance between the rich boy and his bodyguard felt slow and ultimately pointless. It could have been omitted entirely
- The sudden and drastic change in the characters of the rich boy and Charn felt jarring. While I understand they behaved differently in the past, the transformation seemed too abrupt
- The intimate scene between the main couple was oddly directed, leaving me confused about the purpose of most shots
- The series attempted to blend too many genres together, but unfortunately failed to succeed. The humor bits felt out of place and tone-deaf to the overall tone of the series. For example, including a funny scene immediately after Thin mourning the death of his niece seemed inappropriate
- I didn't appreciate the implication that Charn may have been involved in the murder of the villainous politician, only for it to never be addressed again. If true, it would make him a murderer as well, which raises some serious ethical concerns
- The inclusion of a lecture on same-sex marriage laws in the last episode felt preachy and disrupted the overall flow of the series. While I agree with the message, it felt forced and intended to influence the audience
- The depiction of the "marriage" itself was underwhelming, with the main characters simply kissing/hugging the grandma and exchanging rings in a room filled with a handful of people. It felt like a parody of a wedding. Furthermore, the decision to include a marriage after just 8 action and murder-filled episodes felt rushed and didn't fit well within the storyline
- I couldn't help but notice that the actress playing the grandma seemed to have excessive filler in her face, which made her eyes nearly disappear when she smiled
Overall, the potential of the two main characters was not fully utilized in this series, and I hope the actors have the opportunity to work on a better project in the future.

Good series but something still missing
The series is fun and has lots of over the top drama. The leads have great chemistry. The story is a bit much over the top at times. I have to say it's a great series in the story idea, but the execution of the series was a bit off. The character of Tinn is the only good guy in this series. Charn is not trust worthy from the start, and to much of a player for my liking. Sadly very disappointed with the story development and over the top acting at times. This could have been so amazing of a series, but the lack of morals and very unrealistic law and justice makes it to be all a big joke. The actors are great but the character development is bad. I really wish they took this series is a better direction. The two girls that are there friends are great characters, and the ex was a nice touch, love them. The second couple which is the son and bodyguard sadly not a fan of at all, their story was dull and lacked real chemistry. Wish they did a better job in the emotion department felt off considering this was all suppose to be about his niece death and yet felt like hardly touched on at all, the story was way to fast in getting them together. Good series but felt flat a lot when it came to morals and unrealistic at times. I do love both of their smiles are beautiful and crazy. The singing is amazing as well.Esta resenha foi útil para você?

The blurred lines between law and attraction
The line between love and hate is barely visible, but the distinction between lawful good and chaotic good is clear as day. The very first scenes establish the characteristics of our main characters, Charn, a high profile lawyer who is ruthless and not above bending the law to further his will. One the other side is Tin, a martial arts coach who believes the law is just and the law will do it's job. These two are brought together on several occasions, the most notable being when they meet as plaintiff and defense in the case involving the death of Tin's niece. The story moves along with Tin and Charn joining forces once Charn realises that something doesn't sit quite right with the case, and from here on out follows the adventures of the gang as they try to figure out the truth behind the accident.
The series is through and through a lakorn, from the gratuitous violence, terrible parents on one end, and incredibly supportive parents and guardians on the other, a villain who's not really a villain, and the plethora of other lakorn tropes that make it interesting (yet sometimes horrifying) to watch. Another great part is that this is also a character driven drama. The story and situation plays an important role in progressing the plot forward, but the involvement of the characters keeping in mind their personalities and allegiances make this a series where it is impossible to predict the next movement of any character. The story is fairly predictable, but the way the characters interact with each other in addition to the fact that you can never predict what exactly they're going to do next keeps it interesting on all fronts.
The best part though is the chemistry. Charn and Tin have this undeniable chemistry between each other, and they seem to have it with everyone else as well. The dialogue flows when they interact with each other and during those moments you almost forget how their relationship started out.
This is a genuinely good series, and while it does have its fair share of gruesome scenes (some of them were hard to watch), it's definitely worth a watch, especially for the romance.

One of the best bl
This is what i like to see. A fast paced good storyline with intense sexual tension. You can see their eyes wanting each other since ep 1. The way charn was flirting with tinn made my my heart flutter. Whispering in seductive tone and staring at each other made me squeal.
That’s why ep 4 is my favvv. The club scene was the best and i don’t know how many times rewatched the scene where tinn put hands on charn waist turning him to his side.
Wish their were more moments like this. I don’t know how many times i must have said this in my head “Just kiss already” while watching this series.
Done fangirling, now let’s talk about the real review.
Charns characterisation was great. The grey character and a bit realistic. Obviously who won’t be like him considering his past tragedy. I really liked him in this series and the acting was toooo good. So drastic change in character, he was the purest soul in “to sir with love” and here he is with his sexy sinister smile. I especially loved his low voice when tried to tease and seduce tinn.
Tinn, a common man, had his life upside down. But still he was optimistic. He changed charn’s way of thinking despite all the shit happening. He believed in justice and truth.
But guess who’s my fav character??
It’s Nawin. I laughed so damn hard whenever he came on screen.
Even the supporting cast was great especially the side couple.
My only complaint is that this series way too short. I want more heart fluttering flirting, kissing and all.
And i want to see charn being jealous too for once, cuz the way he said “If you ever leave me or cheat on me...” in the last episode made me shiver. He was scary when he said this. I really want to see him being jealous, he would be wayyy more sulky than tinn.
I want a special episodeee😭😭

I would love to watch BL series between thantai and the body guard!
Somehow the intimacy is not much tho in this series. Also, i am interested about tharnthai story as he's actually innocent but it's just that his problem is his dad. Their story is more interested than charn and tinn 😅 There is 2 episode more before i end this series and the preview for the next episode of tharnthai and bodyguard is superb. I am looking forward to their story more than the main actor of this series tho 😅 Compared to to sir with love, i prefer to sir with love than this series. And also i would love to look forward with new BL series between jam and film and i hope the episode and the storyline is way better than this.Overall i loved this series absolutely! But if the main actor intimacy is way better than i think its an improvement than in this seriesn😅

Better Mystery Than Romance
Surprisingly, this series works well as a mystery story and a good ‘who done it’ chronicle, but as a BL it foundered. The above quote literally summed up this series. For it is all about an unprincipled attorney’s futility in trying to be good but has fallen so far down the rabbit hole of evil that it is impossible for him to dig himself back up to the sunlight. I cannot say that the story is disinteresting; it is not. However, it does get overplayed and after a while, too many characters and too many scenarios convolute the story, and it almost becomes a farce. If you are expecting romance, there is little here. The 'second couple' is a way more interesting pair and should have been a major focal point in this series and wanted a more intense romantic connection between them. They were a power couple. You can read my full review of this series at BLBliss.com.

The story is nice, but the acting...
To be honest, I find the story to be quite nice, almost along the lines of the kinnporche series, but also, compared to the same series, I feel like the characters don't have the dinamic they should. I feel like Tin fell harder for Charn than the other way around and while this may not be bad in itself, I feel like this was not the way the story is. From the story I understand that they both love eachother very much and I can also see this in scenes like the helicopter one or in the sub-stories like that one time Charn went to apologise to Tin, but when it comes to their on-screen performance together...idk i just don't feel the chenestry between them.Esta resenha foi útil para você?
