Lu Xiao Bai é um apostador de quinta categoria que faz qualquer coisa por um dinheirinho fácil. Um dia, ele concorda em ajudar uma pessoa famosa a escapar de sua cidade natal em troca de dinheiro. Mas isso prova ser uma decisão fatídica e muito tola: a pessoa notável estava buscando fugir de um casamento com Shen Jun Ye, a policial autoritária da cidade e de uma família poderosa. The acting is good. Romance part isn't that much shown. The whole mystery/investigation was good. There's a lot of funny moments.
I like how the female lead is physically strong and good at martial arts, meanwhile the male lead is weaker but good at solving crimes.
Not much characters involved in the whole show which makes it easier to follow.
Overall, It’s a good short drama.
The whole drama combined is 2 hours long. It's perfect if you're looking for short drama to watch.
Ending A Big Disappointment
Unless it had been longer or a Part 2 to follow, this is a big sad nope for me!!I loved it at first and up until the ending was loving the interaction of ML and FL as they solved cases together with their own capabilities, falling in love in the process. UNTIL THE END and that's all I can say. If they have a Season 2 to finish it and make each episode longer, I will watch that for sure because I love the reversal in roles where the FL is the powerhouse and the ML is the "weaker" of the two as far as fighting skills, but adds his strength with his detective skills . I love Male and Female detectives working together in solving cases in ancient dramas to see how they did it back then. So please Directors, do better next time.
