Season 2 ?
Perfect drama, acting, story, music ... I would like a season 2 in the near future. In this drama, for me personally, the hour of time from each episode seemed like 10 minutes.
The story itself is what we all see all over the world every day.
I'm very interested in what the second season would look like and whether there are announcements for it to be shot soon?
There is room here for an even better story next season.
I recommend you to watch this drama because it is very exciting and unique.

Unexpected - dark, but empowering, but terrifying, all at the same time
The Devil Judge attracted me because of Ji Sung and Park Jin Young; I was interested in watching their performances again. I wasn't as intrigued by the plot, but figured their acting would keep my interest. The story was so dark. It is NOT for the faint of heart. It challenges your conceptions and values of justice, especially how justice should be doled out.
There were a number of unexpected twists and turns in the plot and betrayals I didn't see coming. The ending, while bittersweet, was a fitting ending.
The only thing I found a little annoying was how the bad guys kept winning against the good guys for so long. For me, I would have liked to see a more even push and pull between the sides.

WOULD REWATCH HOLY CRAP
No one can tell me they weren’t in love. I regret hesitating to watch this. One of my favs. Pls, I need something else with Ji Sung and Jinyoung in it. PETITION FOR SEASON 2Had many actors I’ve seen before like Supreme Justice Min, Ahn Nae-sang, Park Hyung-soo, Hyeon-Jin Baek, Jinyoung, Jang Young Nam, and of course Park Gyu-young.
TW:
SUICIDE
BLOOD AND GORE
VIOLENCE
SA
ABUSE
Thinking about it, we don’t know what happened with Jae Hee, Min Jeong-ho, and Han So Yoon. We are left with, well, nothing. Did Elijah’s legs get better? What happened to Cha Kyung Hee and Kim Choong Sik?
Happy for the ending. Swear I kept looking to see if Yohan dies or not.
When Seon-a killed herself over killing Yohan, that woman really did love Yohan- in her special sick way of course.
Maybe this is like weird, but I found that if I were to be on stage and even though I’m not right now because that stage don’t exist, I would probably like 98% agree with Yohan‘s ways because they were effective and the crimes were serious.
On another note, I feel like the first seasons ending really gave us a springboard if they decided to do a second season we have no idea what happened to dream base and seems like the foundation is yet again complete assholes.
That’s enough content for you to make season two, right? I would definitely rewatch tho first season again. It starts off slow and that’s why I dropped it awhile ago but omg. Give it a chance and if you don’t like it, well, wait until the end of the first or second episode.
So on second thought I will revise my rating to a 9.5- points deducted for lack of Season Two and some loose ends but overall, people gotta hop on this if they haven’t yet!

Started off strong and then fell off about halfway through.
The first half of this show was great! The ML is one of my favorites because he gives great performances in everything. The second ML was also great. The start of this show was interesting and it looked like it was going to have episodic cases about morality and how to truly punish the rich, who typically use their wealth to get away with awful things. It looked like the overarching theme was going to be about finally getting justice for the disadvantaged - and then about halfway through, this show goes off the rails in a bad way.
I hated the treatment of female characters. With the exception of the ML's niece (who's ending I think might have been considered ableist), every female character was treated pretty badly. There's the love interest (?) of the second ML who was rejected over and over before an undeserved ending. There's the female villains who's endings were unsatisfactory and the reasonings for the the former maid's hatred was ambiguous at best and disappointing at worst. The third judge never really got to do anything of import throughout the show. At one point, they relegate her to a position where it really seemed like she was just there to be pretty. She was left out of most of the important plot points.
The cases just fall away around the 6th episode and we get a long plot with lots of scenes of the rich elite operating behind the scenes and those scenes were boring.
I didn't outright hate the ending, but I had to force myself to get to it. First half was wonderful! Second half, not so much.

The devil lies in the society
The Devil Judge, is outrageously smart and witty with a charismatic lead character who will go lengths to deliver justice. Much like Vincenzo, The Devil Judge is a drama regarding legal matters of the country. The Devil Judge emphasizes the reality of our world today, particularly in politics. Shameless and evil politicians in movies or series are not new in movies and series. We often see them because it mirrors the truth of how prevalent their existence is. It has a lot of twists and turns which are unpredictable, as a viewer I couldn't trust how the revelation of everything was gonna get delivered.
The only missing point I felt was lack of strong backstory for the main antagonist of the show Jung Seon Ah, who was quite dazzling yet dangerous playing the main culprit. The soundtrack was amazing as well, sitting well with the dystopian environment and moulding itself easily with this genre.
Uniquely written and delivered, whether you’re into dystopian themes or action-packed series with the right emotions, The Devil Judge is something you wouldn’t want to miss.
My Rating : 9/10

Is he good or is he bad?
Good… Bad… I flipped flopped between both answers with every episode I watched as the story was masterfully weaved to keep me in suspense right till the end.The courtroom drama was superb and I absolutely enjoyed the way the devil judge punished the criminals. All the twists and manipulations that went into getting the desired outcomes were very well written and very engaging.
Seeing the devil judge’s stark contrast between his two appearances (hair up and hair down) while at work and at home brought a smile to my face and I was soon captivated. The other contrast between his cool outward appearance and his love for his niece was night and day and he did it brilliantly.
The storyline is one of the best I’ve seen and coupled with great pacing and editing, this drama was thoroughly enjoyable with its fair share of surprises and reveals.

Não estou impressionada...
Não tenho razões plausíveis para ter demorado um mês para acabar, apenas muita preguiça.Ora bem!
E cumpri a promessa.

Must see Kdrama
I seldom puts in a review but Devil Judge is one of a kind Kdrama. The storyline is unique on its own, we probably will see this kind of court scene in the future knowing how technology works. The two Male actors Jisung and Jinyoung and the female lead Min Jung , gave a performance that is worth watching.Cinematography is art in itself. Episodes after Episodes I find myself holding to a different kinds of emotions. Sometimes I'm angry at the characters but often times sympathizing with them.
Must see Kdrama. I would like to see Season 2 of The Devil Judge.

Okay, I really, really tried and wanted to finish this series. Accepted that this was the feel of a daytime soap opera where everything is dramatized and nothing really made sense or flowed well. They threw in as much dramatic effects as possible with car chases in miraculously empty highways, doppelgangers, coincidences that should only occur in a town with less than a hundred population, etc. It really did no justice for two of the mains portrayed by Ji Sung and Kim Min Jung, as they are the only ones to look forward to on screen. The rest of the mains were incredibly annoying and hypocritical and were a really poor balance to the "Devil Judge". They come off as arrogant and self-righteous fools who only create more problems than solve any. They whine, cry, criticize, and complain but have no abilities to do anything about the situations, and yet they end up relying on the same ones they continuously bash over and over again.
Even ignoring glaring issues like with the Park Jin Young character who is supposed to be a judge idol but yet, he can just casually go on his investigations without being recognized? Or the fact that while he apparently worked so hard to become a judge (even though it was handed to him), he gave attitude to his employer over and over right off the bat? And despite being overly vocal about being lawful and moral, he judges his boss pretty much immediately, plants a listening bug in his office, and then invades his privacy in his own home while he was being taken care of? Then there's his equally arrogant cop girlfriend who illegally provides him with information and equipment.
What finally made me throw my hands in the air in defeat was when that incompetent and useless cop girlfriend decided it was a fantastic idea to approach a mob of troublemakers by herself, leave the handicap niece in the car, and expect things will go smoothly just because she whipped out a gun? Then, when the guys come to their rescue, she turns around to point a gun at the uncle because he's pissed off and has the assailant by the neck? Then says she's going to arrest HIM instead? Furthermore, the niece also acts up like her usual prissy brat self even though she's the one who called him begging for help?
There's just too many annoying aspects to list and I can't stand characters who want to juice the hell out of their life traumas as if they are the only ones in the world who have them. The overall plot had good potential and Ji Sung and Kim Min Jung carried their roles well, but the annoyances from the others have become overwhelming and I'm done trying.

First Hand Review
This show is a much watch for those who love legal dramas and for also those who are tempted or thinking of start to watch legal dramas. the first episode itself was amazing and breathtaking. the plot mix up is amazing as the episode progresses. the execution and flow of every frame is amazing. The effort put up the character development even if it is the first episode is commendable. the case hearing, the debates taking place in the court room sounds realistic, you feel as if you're transported in to a real court room. the anticipation of what's next will keep you up on your seat and will make you come back for more whenever the new episode releases. it gives in sight to the working of the high class rich people how they can manipulate with the use of money and power. the show itself is written by a former judge so the cases handled sounds realistic that may happen in real life too rather than having twist and turns. episode embarks further into character development, building up relationship among the leads and supporting ones. give us insight of who's who and all.Esta resenha foi útil para você?
